The new UNECE European Regulation 48 defines voluntary or compulsory marking with reflective adhesive materials on the rear and sides of different types of vehicles.
This new regulation makes contour marking compulsory for motor vehicles with at least 4 wheels intended for the carriage of goods, with a maximum authorised weight of more than 7.5 tonnes and a width of 2.1 metres or more.
