3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Metal Bonder Acrylic Adhesive 8407NS is a two-component structural adhesive. Designed to permanently bond to bare metals with minimal surface preparation, it also works seamlessly on many other materials, including most plastics. It is composed of liquid reactive polymers that undergo a chemical reaction when mixed and then harden to form a solid plastic material. Once the two components have been mixed to the specified ratio, the curing process begins; this provides a limited range of time to apply the adhesive and bond the two surfaces together as required.

Applications

Reminder: As stated above, the shelf life is short, so you will need to buy as many nozzles as you want to use the adhesive. The nozzle mixture hardens in 7 minutes. If you use it continuously, the adhesive inside the nozzle will not harden.
