Description
3M™ Vinyl Marking Tapes have a very good adhesion to the floor to multitude of surfaces, offering excellent application with no dripping, no wiping and easy removal, which means no residue is left behind.
Their resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and moisture, as well as their intense colour, make them ideal for identification, colour coding, wayfinding, and hazard marking applications.
Depending on customer requirements 3M™ offers a wide range of adhesive tapes for marking/signalling:
- Permanent marking/marking of zones: 3M™ 471, 3M™ 5700 and 3M™ 5702.
- Temporary and indoor area marking/marking: 3M™ 764, 3M™ 766i and 3M™ 767i.
- Marking/marking of high performance floors (extra strength): 3M™ 971.
Characteristics
- 3M™ 471: Offers greater durability and wear resistance than similar tapes. It is a valid tape for both interior and exterior.
- 3M™ 971: This tape is designed for long-term floor marking, but can be removed cleanly and in one piece after several years on the floor.
- 3M™ 764: For general use in simple applications. Good instant adhesion.
- 3M™ 766/767: Tape for hazard marking vinyl backing with diagonal stripes and rubber adhesive, resistant to most common solvents.
- 3M™ 5702: This tape is an effective means of marking lanes, hazardous areas, overhanging equipment and low hanging objects in factories, warehouses and hospitals.
