Description 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Structural
3M™ Scotch-Weld structural adhesives are designed to provide high strength bonding of a wide variety of materials. These adhesives provide weight reduction, improved aesthetics, stronger and more permanent bonds, and greater design freedom.
Features 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP8005:
- Structural bonding of low surface energy plastics such as polyolefins, polypropylene, polyethylene and thermoplastic elastomers (TPO).
- Bonding of metals, rubber, glass, ceramics and wood.
- Excellent resistance to water, moisture and chemicals.
- Reaches workpiece clamping in about 3 hours.
- Cures at room temperature without heat or other chemicals within 24 hours.
- Available in cream and black.

- Extreme toughness to withstand demanding conditions.
- Application on vertical surfaces, thanks to its thixotropic formulation.en superficies verticales, gracias a su formulación tixotrópica.
- Excellent peel, shear and vibration resistance.
